Jonathan C. Tyler, 25, of Lumberton, has been arrested this week and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children and one count of attempting to endanger the welfare of children. He is accused of initiating online sexual conversations with underage girls between the months of June and August and collecting photos of nude pre-pubescent girls on his smartphone.
One of the images shared by Kitna was of a prepubescent girl being sexually abused by a man. The phrase \"so young junior\" was written on that picture, and another of a pubescent girl. Kitna told a detective he thought the pictures were legal because he found them online.

When police searched Kitna's phone, they found three more images of two nude pubescent girls in the shower, according to the report. Those three images were saved to his cellphone last December, police said. The report did not estimate the ages of the girls.

Kenny Avance, 26, of Vilonia, was charged in a criminal complaint filed May 12, 2021, with production of child pornography after a confidential source contacted the FBI regarding a Snapchat exchange with an individual using the username "KennyaVance," who the source said first requested child porn photos and later sent two photos of a young female child nude from the waist down via a texting app.
Gardner said after the recipient asked for proof that Avance wouldn't "screw me over," Avance sent a photo of a pre-pubescent girl nude from the waist down with a partially visible man in a sexually suggestive position.
Police say they eventually executed a search warrant over it all at Kitna's Florida residence on Wednesday ... and seized his phone. According to the documents, an ensuing search of the device revealed he was in possession of three more child sexual abuse images, depicting two nude pubescent juveniles in different poses.
Middle school students were at the heart of a similar incident several weeks ago in Falmouth, Mass., when six boys, ages 12 to 14, snapped photos of a nude female classmate and distributed them to others at the school via cell phone. In Billerica, Mass., several weeks earlier, a 14-year-old girl sent a naked photo of herself to a high-school student who in turn forwarded it to at least 100 students at the local middle and high schools, as well as a high school in a neighboring town.
In Kingston, N.H., last fall, a photo of a Sanborn High School boy, nude from his waist to his knees, was sent via cell phones to students throughout the school. The week before that incident, two explicit photos of several female students in various stages of undress were circulated via cell phone to students at Salem (N.H.) High School.
According to a recent survey on sexting conducted by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and CosmoGirl.com, 20 percent of all teens interviewed admitted to sending nude or semi-nude photos or videos of themselves electronically, even though 75 percent surveyed knew it could have serious negative consequences.
The reasons? The age-old one: they want to impress a boy or girl and thought the photos were "fun or flirty," according to more than 60 percent of those who have sent images. Significantly, another 23 percent said they felt peer pressure.

I was really struck by something my friend Jane said on Twitter this week, which was about how ridiculous this moral panic is over the specific brand\u2019s decision to place weird, pedophilic Easter eggs within their campaign imagery, as though the entire fashion industry isn\u2019t predicated on kidnapping pre-pubescent girls from their families, and often from third-world countries, and then shuttling them all over the globe only to starve them, plunge them into debt and, more often than not, put them in positions where they will be sexually assaulted.
